Marina Evlanova is a professional Russian illustrator, print designer and comics author, moved to Almaty in 2022 and shows Kazakh nature and ethnic vibes through her art.
Her attention to nature combined with her graphic visual style attracts a wide audience both in underground comic geek communities and in big festivals/art markets.
Marina also creates a range of home and clothing products under her own brand name. She is a designer of thoughtful cotton kimono collection with linocut ethnic prints, which are well loved with customers and independent stores. She loves to work with identity projects and surface design for products and fabrics.
Marina currently lives and works by the mountains in Almaty. She is also a vanlife and camplife lover and this is reflected in her work.
